Wokingham Tourist Information


Wokingham Tourist Information is located in the Town Hall. The entrance can be found opposite The Cafe Rouge. A great place to find out about all local information. Also known as a tourist haven. You can select the leaflets you require if you want to explore Wokingham. There is information available for all the parks and attractions nearby, as well as the town societies and the clubs.

If you want to learn more about the history of Wokingham there are free books and leaflets available for you to take and also some that are on sale.

There are also tickets available for charity events in Wokingham as well as the opportunity to see what local charities are up to in the area.

You can also book football pitches, charity stalls, allotments and market stalls at the Information Centre Office. You can also book rooms at the Town Hall here. The Town Hall is a beautiful venue for wedding ceremonies.

Monkey Mates

Based in Wokingham Monkey Mates is an activity centre with an indoor soft play area and outdoor playground making it ideal to visit whatever the weather. There is a large indoor frame with 3 areas, under 3’s, under 5’s and over 5’s. The areas have an array of sections including a rope bridge, an assault run to a spooky room, net walks, spinning poles, ball cannons, Astra and spiral slides and tunnels It also has a cafe and offers a popular party service.

Wellington Country Park

Wellington Country Park is a 20-minute drive from Wokingham. It is known as ‘The Biggest Outdoor play in Berkshire’ as it is set in 350 acres of beautiful parklands it is off the A33 between Basingstoke and Reading. There are several adventure play areas, sand pits, miniature railway, sand pits, animal farm, water play, slides, 12 holes of mini golf plenty to keep the children entertained in the open air.

The nature trails take you to the Red and Fallow deer and to a range of wildlife that lives in the natural habitat. Families can enjoy picnics or BBQs around the 35-acre lake. There is a cafe and shop with plenty to keep you all going throughout the day and ideal place for a fun packed day for all the family.
